A loan of $1,050 helped to purchase one dairy cow and some sheep.

Gulbara's story

Gulbara is 53 years old and she has raised one son. By nature, she is a quiet and very positive woman. She has been involved in animal husbandry since 1998 and started in this business with an initial capital of 20,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, she now owns one cow, 30 sheep and two horses. She makes close to 15,000 som (KGS) a month from the sale of milk and dairy products.

In order to further develop her business, Gulbara has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to buy a dairy cow and small livestock, which will allow her to increase her milk yield. She plans to invest the revenues from her loan into further expanding her herd.
