Mirella Yvone's story

Mirella is a 33 year old woman. She lives in the city of Chincha with her son, whom she loves and who is her main reason for living. She is a very kind, hardworking and enthusiastic person who puts all of her effort into getting her son ahead, because she is both mother and father to him. Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources and because she has had to wrk since she was very young, Mirella was unable to study law, but she would have really liked to. In her free time, she likes to see movies and on occasion cook a delicious carapulcra to share with her family.

On her own initiative, with much hard work and dedication, Mirella works at her own business selling food and beverages. She works every day starting in the early morning hours. She can work for approximately 8 hours. She is happy with her work and believes that it is going well for her because she is a good cook and because she is friendly to her customers.

Mirella is grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help she will be able to buy shelving, display cases and materials. These will be very useful for improving her business, because she will keep working and striving to achieve her biggest dream of having her own home.
