A loan of $875 helped to buy paper for layouts, drawing pens, and ink to make documents.

Piedad's story

Piedad, 35, is the mother of three children who live with her in the house she build with hard work. Piedad manages construction projects: she develops workplaces, builds infrastructure, and offers project consulting and other related services. She started her business seven years ago, though she shut it down after four years because she lacked working capital and had personal issues to deal with. She is open again and is very optimistic.

She has an office in her home where she creates layouts and prospectuses for projects. This has been very successful, and she has a lot of work pending this month. She says the work is very profitable because there are many renovation and development projects underway in her area, which lets her seek out new clients for her work. She is satisfied with her income and wants to continue with her projects. She expects the business to grow and hopes to develop it with new and better technical tools. She is applying for a loan of S/. 2200 soles to buy paper for layouts, drawing pens, and ink to make documents.
