A loan of $625 helped to purchase ingredients for her dishes.

Teresa's story

Teresa, 53, is a single mother of four children, and lives next door to two of them in her own home constructed of wood. She has a business selling food, and on a daily basis she is responsible for preparing the finest food in the region which she offers to the public from a stall in her home. This is why she goes to the market in the main city every morning to acquire the necessary ingredients to prepare her dishes.

Teresa has been in business for about five years, and her daughter helps her out. Her business has increased her income and she has gained new customers, and always needs to innovate her work. She enjoys her work very much because it not too demanding and allows her to focus on her youngest sons.

Also, Teresa is successful in selling her dishes because her customers have become used to the great taste. On this occasion, she is requesting a loan of 1600 Soles which she will use to purchase wholesale products such as rice, sugar, and tubers, among others. Teresa is grateful to the people who provide the financing she needs to continue her business, and in turn she agrees to comply with the payment schedule in a timely and responsible manner.
