Fatoumata lives in southern Senegal. She is 55 years old and has 3 children, 2 of whom are at university and one of whom is in the 3rd year of secondary school. She will use this loan to buy merchandise from wholesalers in the same town as her, so that she can raise her inventory and satisfy her customers. Fatoumata has been selling haberdashery items for 3 years. She starts her workday at 9 o'clock in the morning and ends it at half past six in the evening. She helps with the provision of school supplies and registration fees for her children. She would like her business to make a lot of money so that she can one day build a house.
