A loan of $1,025 helped to buy supplies and hire workers for his coffee crop.

Titolivio's story

Titolivio, 63, is married and lives with his wife and son, who are his top priority. He plans to use the loan to buy fertilizers and fungicides and to hire workers to help with his coffee crop. He will also buy plants for transplanting when the rains begin so he can increase his plantation, taking advantage of the fertile soil and climate conditions favorable to the coffee crop.

With these crop improvements he hopes to increase his earnings and improve his family's living conditions. He also wants to invest more in the crop area and meet some of his goals. This is his first loan through FUDECOSUR. He has never had a state bank loan, but FUDECOSUR is giving him better terms and a much lower interest rate.
