Fatuma is divorced and has two children who are in school.
Fatuma has been a seamstress for more than seven years. She started out with some capital that she earned while working in the neighborhood. Now she has a business where she produces uniforms for educational institutions and sports clubs. Throughout her career, she has gained many customers who visit her home in order to place their orders.
This loan will be used to buy more supplies in bulk, such as fabrics of different types and colors, thread, buttons, and zippers. As a result, her business will be able to continue growing.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
