A loan of $650 helped to buy cattle.

Halimjon's story

Halimjon is a kind and responsible young man. He is married and has 1 child. From his early childhood, he helped his father raise cattle, as this was the family business. He now knows all the ins and outs of raising cows. He works as a stockman, and all the residents of his village trust him with their herds because he is conscientious and trustworthy person. He pastures the cattle in the mountains. He also has his own cattle which he fattens and re-sells, as there is a big demand in his village. His wife is a homemaker who raises the children, but when Halimjon goes far away into the mountains, she takes care of the cows. Halimjon now wants to increase his herd, and for this reason he has come to Arvand for a loan which he plans to use to buy cattle so he can develop his business.
