Gulmira's story

Gulmira is a 43-year-old mother of three. She worked for many years at a regional pharmacy. She is a friendly and hard-working woman.

While searching for new sources of income in 1996, Gulmira started her own animal husbandry and crop farming business with an initial investment of 3,000 som. Thanks to persistence and hard work she was able to develop her business so that it now brings in a monthly income of 13,000 som and 70,000 som during the harvest season. Gulmira currently owns two dairy cows, two bulls, and ten sheep and goats.

Gulmira turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a 100,000 loan to purchase more heads of cattle. She plans to use the income from the loan to invest in her business.
