A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase household goods.

Hanifa's story

This is Hanifa, a loving mother who, in spite of her age, is still working hard and doing everything she can for her children. Her husband unfortunately died a few years ago, leaving her alone with four children. Since that day, she has had to assume a huge responsibility as the head of her family and the protector of her children. Besides raising her children, she has had to provide them with food and keep them away from poverty.

Hanifa worked very hard and was able to find sources of income which allowed her to stand on her feet. In order to reach her goals, she turned to the organization MDO Arvand and applied for loans more than once. She repaid these loans on time, which clearly shows that she is a responsible woman and a caring mother. Thanks to the loans she took, she was able to create adequate living conditions for her children.

Having worked and saved money for some time, she decided to open a small business. Last year she rented a store and started to sell small everyday items. She gradually expanded her business, and also started to sell household goods. The demand for her goods began to increase, and she received orders from her customers to purchase other necessary items. Today, Hanifa's store contains everything, from matches to kitchen utensils and blankets.

In order to further expand her business and to buy more merchandise, Hanifa is requesting a new loan. This time again, she truly hopes to receive help and assistance from MDO Arvand, in order to further develop her small business. She thanks MDO Arvand in advance for their support and their trust. She strongly believes that a brighter future awaits her children and that they will be worthy of their father's name and of the support their mother has given them in her late years.
