Mable's story

Mable is a second time borrower at UGAFODE Micro finance Ltd (MDI) applying for Ugx.400,000. She is single mother with four children whose school fees she pays. She stays with her children at their family home in one of the outskirts of the Kampala suburbs. Her primary source of income is frying snacks such as Cassava and pan cakes from her home. She has applied for this loan to boost her business. She will also use part it to help pay tuition for the children. She works so hard with a goal of supporting all her children throughout their schooling.Despite the financial constraints, she is determined that none of her children will drop out of school.With financial assistance from UGAFODE, she hopes to purchase land and build a residential structure on it for herself and children.In the photo above Mable is with the UGAFODE Credit officer who had gone to verify her business.
