Ealiya's story

Ealiya is from the northern village of Davora. She works as a caregiver part time through welfare services and has managed a bakery from her home since 2010.

Ealiya is a dedicated, strong and resourceful woman, determined to succeed and help her children become responsible adults. She has baked breads, cakes, cookies and other products from her home and gained a good number of customers. She decided to move her business to the town center, where there are many stores and good foot traffic to draw new customers. Her clients, husband and family support this move and want to see Ealiya succeed even more.

She needed this loan to help with paying for remodeling the new bakery, an oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer and supplies.

Ealiya wants to continue to expand her business and include a falafel stand in the future. She wants to help her children complete their studies, including her eldest son who is in medical school.
