A loan of $375 helped to buy wood.

William's story

William, 36, is married and has five children, ages 2, 5, 8, 12, and 18. He makes a living selling wood in his sawmill located on the island of Suriqui, very close to Lake Titicaca.

This is William's first loan sequence with the institution. He's going to use this loan to buy wood for his business. He's requesting this loan because he doesn't have enough money to acquire the wood he needs.

William faces challenges in his business, which are transporting the wood to the island, which he has to do by boat, and wanting to have a lot of wood to sell to his customers and increase his sales.

He's going to use the profits to continue buying wood and improving his income. He wants to have a stable and profitable business.

William's a new entrepreneur with a desire to improve his quality of life.
