A loan of $250 helped to buy more frozen foods for inventory, to expand her sales.

Satta's story

Satta is 27 years old and lives in Montserrado county, which is the largest commercial county in Liberia. She lives with her boyfriend and their three children. The children are two to eight years old, and all of them are in school.

For 5 years, Satta has been selling frozen foods in her community market -- for example, chicken, pigs' feet, and fish. She started her business with money given to her by her boyfriend. She makes more profit and has more customers. She is requesting a loan to buy more frozen foods for inventory. Her plan is to expand her business, even more.
