A loan of $400 helped to buy printing papers.

Willy's story

Willy is 57 years old. He is married with seven children, three of whom attend school. He also takes care of two grandsons. Willy has a printing and stationery business on Rubaga road ‘A’ zone that he started in 1995 in order to stimulate his income with an aim of looking after his family.

Willy’s challenges are limited capital to meet his clients' demands (his clients, in turn, leave him as he cannot supply them in time), competition from other service providers, and low returns to enable him to take care of his family well and again grow his business. Willy’s customers are schools, offices, customers with party functions, and many others.

Willy wants the loan to add to his business to enable him to meet his clients' demands and to improve his returns so that he can see his children finish up school since he is aging up.

Willy is a hard-working old man who loves development. He is confident that the partnership he has started with UGAFODE will go a long way. He is excited that he will be able to achieve his dreams.
