Nurbubu's story

Nurbubu is 54 years old and she is married with six children. As a source of income from her family. Nurbubu raises cattle and works on as a farmer. She started this business in 1995 and now she brings in about 12,000 som (KGS) per month. She currently has two cows on her farm and she also grows beans and potatoes. After selling off her beans at the end of the season, Nurbubu has an average of 150,000 som (KGS). With the goal of developing her business further, Nurbubu has turned to "Bai Tushum and Partners" for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy four bulls, as she wants to start a business raising, fattening and reselling cattle. Nurbubu plans to reinvest her income from this business into more head of cattle.
