A loan of $3,900 helped a member buy meat, seasonings, flour, eggs, etc.

Jesus Misericordioso Group's story

The group "Jesús Misericordioso" (Merciful Jesus), is on their 8th loan with the enterprising women program of the foundation, where every one of the members works hard to be successful. Ester is a part of this group and has worked for several years selling milanesas (a traditional, breaded cutlet dish) as a street vendor and by taking orders from her house. Ester says that thanks to the sales that she makes, she has a little extra income that she uses to help her family. She is very talented at cooking and it is because of this that it is going very well for her. In addition, she is growing and getting better with time. She is asking for this loan to be able to invest it in buying meat, seasonings, flour, eggs, and other consumable goods in order to keep making her milanesas and satisfy her customers.

In this group: Alejandrina, Celsa, Mirtha, Marciana, Norma, Irma, Ester, Mirian, Ceferina, Casilda, Liz, Elvia, Marcia, María, Juana, Paola
