Gladys' Group's story

Gladys is a dryland farmer, producing and selling maize, cowpeas, hens and goats. She is a thirty-year-old, married mother of six; five of her children are attending school.

Gladys faces the challenges of drought and food shortages, like all dryland farmers. She looks forward to learning how to be a forestry farmer with the KOMAZA program. Gladys intends to continue educating her children with the money she will get after harvesting her tree farm.
