Tela, Atlantida, Honduras / Clothing Sales

A loan of $875 helped to buy pants, shirts, t-shirts, shorts, bathing suits, underwear, make-up, cosmetics, and perfume.

Nury Lizeth's story

Nury, age 34, is married and has two children. She lives with her family in a community in the Tela municipality in the Atlántida department.

She started her business four years ago. She sells clothes and cosmetics in an itinerant manner and at her house.

Due to the high cost of living, Nury decided to get other income by selling clothes. This way she helps her household financially.

In order to increase sales and take advantage of the summer season, she decided to request a loan for 17,000 lempiras. She plans to use the loan to buy pants, shirts, t-shirts, shorts, bathing suits, underwear, make-up, cosmetics, and perfume.

Nury is motivated by her business because this income serves to support her children’s education.
