Ana's story

Ana is 27 years old and she has three children, aged ten, six and two years. They are of school age. Ana makes a living selling a variety of basic, staple products, such as groceries, sweets from her small grocery store in Pampa de la Isla. This is Ana's first loan cycle with the institution and she will use it to stock up her store, buying a variety of groceries, such as rice, pasta, flour and sugar, in bulk. She will then be able to provide a variety of products to her customers. She is applying for this loan in order to continue improving her business. Ana will use the profits to continue buying products and so improve her income, as this is Carnival period and there is a lot of demand. Her wish is to have a big grocery store and to provide a better service to her customers. Ana is happy with the opportunity provided as this is the only job that allows her to support herself.
