Virgen De Itati Group's story

This group is from the city of Encarnación and came about as a result of promotions being conducted in the area. The members have been working with the foundation since 2010 and are on their 10th loan cycle. The women are heads of family who struggle to get ahead so they can help their families and give them a decent life that is not underprivileged.

One of the members of the group is María, who sells food as a street vendor. She says she has a very good clientele because of her delicious dishes. She is a talented cook so business is going very well. She is requesting a loan to buy supplies so she can continue her business. She will buy meat, vegetables, condiments and other items which will help her business.

The group is grateful for this opportunity as it will benefit the members greatly.
