A loan of $2,000 helped a member to buy supplies such as fabrics and threads of various colors for her weaving business.

Eben Ezer Group's story

The member is married. She is 58 years old. She did not have the opportunity to study. She has two small children. She works in the production of textiles, shirts and pants. She began this business as an apprentice and employee in another business, which was a necessity as she needed to be able to earn another bit of income. She has ten years of experience, and has the support of her husband who works in commerce.

The group is coming together to ask for a loan and she will use it to buy fabrics and thread of various colors in order to increase her production of garments that she makes. She hopes in the future to have a sewing machine. The other members work in commerce, making textiles, and animal husbandry.
