A loan of $775 helped to care for and to buy fertilizers and compost to improve her coffee nursery, planting and growing.

Rosalia's story

Rosalía is a 41-year old woman who is persistent and responsible. She is married, and from her marriage she has 4 children. Two of them study at school, and the other two help with household chores.

Rosalía completed her primary education, but was not able to continue studying because of a lack of economic support. Day after day, she does her work inside and outside her home, like all the domestic tasks, with much effort and with her husband's support in agriculture, specifically in the planting, production and upkeep of the coffee crop.

She has a very grounded home, because along with her husband and the rest of her family, they are pushing forward for a new future.

Rosalía is requesting your help to keep up her nursery production and coffee growing through the purchase of fertilizers and compost. This profession is the only support she and her family have to cover household necessities such as: food, clothing, education, medicines, etc.

Rosalía is described by her neighbors, friends and family for her long history as a hard-working woman who is responsible with her commitments. Her goal is to be able to expand her plot to be able to plant and grow coffee. Her dream is to be able to give her children a better education and a better lifestyle, and so that they can inherit what their parents have been able to acquire through a lot of effort, and can pass it down to generation after generation.
