Maximiliana's story

Maximiliana is 55 years old and is a single mother. She lives with her only son, Maycon, in her own home located in a farming neighborhood. She has lots of courage and effort for hard work. The products that she has raised with so much effort and dedication have helped her in her life. Her work begins before the sun comes up, caring for her animals. She also raises Guinea pigs, chickens, bulls, and sheep. The she goes out to clean and care for her crops. What she likes most about her work is tending to her land and she feels good watcher her peas, beans, corn, potatoes, and vegetables grow healthily.

“When I harvest, I sell my products in the main market in Tarma,” she says, and she hopes to improve her products so that she can obtain better earnings.
