Janet from Kisauni, is married and has two children. She is a hairdresser and she also sells sewing supplies and shoes. She has loyal customers, because she always gives good service.
She is a hardworking person, responsible and very honest. She started to work in a hair salon as a secretary and her dream was to become a professional and to have her own salon. With time, sacrifice and hard work she was able to reach her goal.
She is now requesting a loan to expand her beauty salon and in this way to be able to continue growing and to offer better services to her customers.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
