A loan of $250 helped to buy compost.

Luzmila's story

Luzmila is 33 years old, lives with Freddy and has two children, Brayan y Cielo. She lives in a rented house located in the agricultural zone.

Luzmila, despite caring for her daughter, does not neglect her work. She was 17 years old when she began farming. She already had certain knowledge that she learned from her parents who also farmed. Her main crops are peas, beans, corn and other vegetables. With her husband’s help she is able to do all of her work and care for her crops. “Bellavista is a zone that produces good choclo (soft corn), so most of the buyers go there,” she proudly states. Fredy also provides transportation services in and around the Tarma and Palca districts. In this way they can provide for their main expenses and also for their children’s educational expenses. Luzmila just finished harvesting a lot of corn and things went well for her. She expects the same from the other lots and needs your help for that so that she can buy compost. She is asking for a loan in the amount of 600 PEN.
