Susanna is 60 years old. She is a widow and lives in the city of Ijevan with her son. As she confessed, she has had a hard life. Her husband died a long time ago, and so she has raised her son alone without any support.

Susanna is a technologist. She graduated from the Industrial College of Ijevan. While Armenia was under Soviet rule, she worked in Ijevan factories and had a good reputation as a technologist. But after the collapse of the Soviet Union, many factories in Ijevan closed, and Susanna became jobless. She appeared to be in a stalemate, but she wanted to ensure the well-being of her family. She started selling clothes and shoes by renting a place in an Ijevan market. Her son helps her with the business. Twice a month, Susanna’s son buys shoes and clothes from Yerevan wholesale markets and transports them to their stall in Ijevan to resell.

For the spring trading season, Susanna needs a loan of about 600,000 AMD to buy a new spring ladies’ shoe collection and a new clothes assortment for women. This loan will help her to increase their trading income and will help Susanna to realize her big dream – to organize her son’s wedding party.
