A loan of $2,000 helped to pay for wheat and potato seeds.

Lilit's story

Lilit runs a farm. She keeps livestock which currently includes two cows, 20 chickens, two lambs and two mother pigs. She also cultivates wheat and barley. As a mother of two children, Lilit works hard to sustain the livelihood of her children and cover the family's basic costs. It is very difficult for her to save money for purchasing seeds for cultivation for the next season. So she has applied for this loan to pay for wheat and potato seeds. This will enable her to expand the cultivation and gather more harvest.

Lilit lives in Haykavan village of Shirak region with her husband and two children. Her husband helps Lilit to sell the gathered harvest and sustain the family. The loan is very important for Lilit and her family because for them agriculture is the sole source of income.
