Perla is 43 years old and married with three children.
Perla works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 10,000 loan through NWTF to buy additional stocks to sell like soap, canned goods, milk, sugar, eggs, etc.
Perla has borrowed and repaid 16 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for 22 years and earns additional income from buying and selling charcoal.
Perla aspires to save money to expand her business.

The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
