Sofronio is 59 years old and a widower with four children.
He earns a living by farming sugarcane in the Philippines. Sofronio is borrowing PHP 12,000 through NWTF to buy fertilizers and other farm supplies.
Sofronio has been farming sugarcane for three years and also earns additional income from raising pigs.
He is working tirelessly toward the attainment of his dream: to save money to expand his business.
