A loan of $600 helped buy organic fertilizer for his food crops.

Victor's story

Victor, who is 66 years old, is a hard-working man. He lives with his wife Edulvina, and they have 7 children. Now they live alone in a rustic house they bought some 48 years ago.

From his youth, Victor learned from his parents the noble calling of agriculture. Since then, he has understood the importance of the countryside. When he was 28 years old, he began independently to sow and negotiate concerning his food crops. Victor comments that his principal crops are carrots, potatoes, and alfalfa in all its varieties. At present, he possesses his own extensive agricultural lands and all of them are productive, which contributes to his economic growth. “Thanks to agriculture, I earned a lot, and was able to improve my quality of life and advance my children,” Victor says and smiles contentedly. “They are all farmers like me,” he affirms. Now Victor wishes to continue sowing and working in agriculture, since it is all he has learned since his birth.

On this occasion, Victor is soliciting 1,500 sols. During all the time he has worked with his association, he has obtained reiterated opportunities for financial help. For that reason, he is a well-known and compliant member who promises to be punctual in making his payments.

Victor will invest the money in purchasing organic fertilizer to nurture his plantings, since shortly, it will be harvest time for his food crops.
