A loan of $925 helped to renovate her house.

Nora's story

Nora is 63 years old and lives with her husband in the village of Nakhakhulevi. Both of the family members receive retirement pensions. Nora and her husband are involved in a small scale dairy business. In particular, they own three milk cows and produce cheese which is sold locally. In addition, they grow nuts on family-owned land. According to the government's estimations, the family belongs in the vulnerable poor category, and they get monthly social assistance. Nora’s husband works as a watchman and also gets a small monthly salary.
Nora and her life partner work hard to save, but they still don’t have enough income to improve their living conditions. Nora is very grateful for Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, she will be able to buy construction supplies such as cement, iron, sand, bricks, etc. She will be able to renovate her house and improve her quality of life. Nora and her husband can create suitable home conditions so that they can enjoy living in their house.
