Mnuka Group's story

Godliver, who is in her mid 40s, is married with one adult child who is married. Godliver has had a restaurant business offering different kinds of food services for a period of nine years now. She works from 6am to 9pm daily and she is able to earn a good monthly profit. This will be her 13th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous 12 loans to buy a plot of land where she started building her house, paid school fees, household expenses, bought more business items like new chairs, and new buckets and replaced the old charcoal stoves. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She wants a loan to buy more business items, cover school fees and proceed on her house building. Her dream is to one day be able to open a wholesale water business. She will share this loan with her group " Mnuka", which totals 11 members . The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
