David's story

David, age 52, lives in the Vani district with his retired mother, his son, and his daughter-in-law. The family runs a dairy farm that has two calves and three milk cows, whose milk is used for making cheese products. The cheese is sold at the local open market. In addition, David owns a plot of land where he grows nuts. He sells an average of 300 to 400 kilograms of nuts per month. For additional income, David purchases chicks in spring, raises them, and sells the hens at a profit.

David has requested a loan in order to purchase chicks for his poultry farming venture. He considers his business to be profitable, since it generates a good income that enables him to support his family.
