A loan of $1,000 helped to buy more livestock and sell it.

María Del Carmen's story

Maria, 39, is married and has four children. She has worked in agriculture from a young age alongside her father. She comes from a very large family and she had to work alongside her brothers. She got married at 17 and continued to work in agriculture with her husband. Nine years ago, she began to buy and sell livestock, always with her husband. She buys farming supplies in a city four kilometers from her home and and she has to pay to transport them. The loan she is asking from Fundación Campo is to buy more livestock, and sell it. The goal is to earn more income to meet her family's needs. She hopes to finish building to house and give her family a better life.
