Margert lives in Magibi county which is the largest producing rubber plantation in Liberia. She is 34 years old and married with two children, ages 2 and 10 years old that are in school and live at home. For the past 8 years Margert has been selling fresh fish, chicken and pig's feet in the local market. She started this business with money given to her by her husband and learned this way of selling from her mother. The challenge she faces is the rainy season. She is requesting a loan to purchase more fresh fish, chicken and pig's feet for her business. She wants to build a house in the near future.
