Samuel's story

Samuel is 30 years old, married, with children who are all schooling. Due lack of tuition, Samuel dropped out of school and started farming on a small scale as a way of earning some money and looking after himself. He is also currently into the produce trade as another source of income to cater to the family.

Samuel wants a loan of UGX 700,000/= (seven hundred thousand shillings) to buy cassava for grinding into flour since it's now a dry season. This will enable him to earn more profits and be in position to cater to the family's needs.

His dream is to grow the agricultural business on a larger scale by acquiring more land. However, Samuel has the challenge of the changing weather conditions that affect the business and the transport, as well.
