Sankey lives in the Airport community in Magibi county, which is the largest producing rubber plantation in Liberia. She is 39 years old and married with four children between 9 and 18 years old. She stopped her education in the 6th grade.

For the past five years, she has been selling body cream, blouses, body powder, etc. in the local market. Sankey says she spends most of her time with her business since it helps to sustain the family. She started this business with money given to her by her mother.
