This group of 7 women was created on the 28th of May, 2009 and groups together women who live in the same district and are united by strong social and professional bonds. The group's leader, Yacine, is standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised and wearing a dress with a yellow floweret pattern. She is 23 years old, married and is a mother, with one daughter. She has been selling fabrics since joining the "banc villageois". With her new loan of 500 000 francs, she will buy packages of various fabrics containing wax Khartoum and dyed damask. The profits generated by her business allow her to take care of the food needs of her small family and also to build her savings with the "banc villageois".
