A loan of $1,025 helped to buy sheep to raise.

Wade's story

Wade is a 41-year-old woman. She is married and mother of four children. She has been a member of the banc villageois since her very first loan cycle. She has received several loans, all of which she has correctly repaid. She has a good relationship with the other women in the group. She gets along well with the other residents of her village. She has been fattening sheep for a long time and is well experienced in that line of work. Her new 500,000 FCFA loan will enable her to buy sheep, which she will fatten and resell at the weekly markets in her town. The profits will enable her to help her husband cover the schooling fees for their children and buy food for the whole family.
