Boota's story

Mr. Boota is a very hardworking and independent person. Since 1997 he has been running a business of milk supply in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. He is 38 years old and the father of 5 children. All of his children are students and his wife is a housewife.

Mr. Boota sells his milk in the market and delivers it door to door as well. His clients like his fresh and pure milk very much. This business is the only source of income for his family; therefore he is interested in further growing his business. By doing this he will be able to put aside some savings for his family's future.

Mr. Boota has requested a loan amount of 120,000 PKR from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase buffalo for his business. By purchasing buffalo he will be able to get more milk to sell. This will help him increase his net income. He is hopeful that the loan will be a productive one for his family and business.
