A loan of $2,100 helped to buy six cows.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is an enterprising and very hardworking mother. She learned about raising livestock when she was very young. She has three children that help her to care for the cattle. Elizabeth buys cows to get calves, which she fattens until they reach an ideal weight and size. She sells them in local livestock fairs. She renews her livestock every year, and for this she is asking for a loan of 1,040,000 colones to buy six cows and start this process. She and her children are glad to be able to get financing for this kind of activity.
