A loan of $375 helped to buy food for her business.

Lourdes Del Pilar's story

Lourdes, 36, and her husband have five children and they all live in a residential area in Tegucigalpa, in central Honduras. For 18 years she has been selling snacks at the community school. Her customers are students, friends and neighbors. She hopes to use her income to give her family a better lifestyle.

Lourdes is requesting a loan to buy cabbage, peppers, chicken, beef, bananas, tortillas, bread, sauces, potatoes, yucca plant, etc. This is to have on hand the daily products her customers request.

Her goal is to expand her business so her children can graduate from school and have better opportunities in life. She is happy to continue working with Prisma.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras - January, 2013.
