A loan of $1,450 helped a member to buy bags of millet, beans and groundnut.

Nanoor Group's story

The group called "Nanoor" which means "agreement" in the local language, is made up of six women all of whom are married. They sell food products in the weekly markets that are held throughout the week in different villages in the region. They buy the food wholesale to reduce the price, share out the products then resell them separately. This activity enables them to provide for themselves and their families.

Ndamba (wearing white) is the group leader. She is the mother of three children. One of the children goes to elementary school. Like the other women, she sells food products.

In order to enhance their businesses, they request a loan of 700,000F to purchase bags of millet, beans, and groundnut.
