Dilbar's story

Dilbar is 51 years old. She is unmarried and has a 28-year-old daughter. As the main breadwinner for the family, for the last 15 years she has been selling baked goods. Though she started with only 800 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS), through persistent hard work, she now has 98,000 Som in turnover and her business brings in around 14,000 Som every month. For the purpose of further developing her business and increasing her turnover, Dilbar has approached the company "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan of 70,000 Som. She will re-invest the profit generated by this loan into her business to continue its development, and in the future she plans to renovate her house.
