A loan of $1,175 helped to buy organic fertilizer and change his fuel system to gas.

Anastacio's story

54-year-old Anastacio is a hard-working man. He lives with his wife Maruja and one of his six children: Analí, whom he cares for in the house he bought 25 years ago.

He is a hard-working man; every day he goes early in the morning to work hard on the land which he has been sowing for thirty years. He comments that thanks to his parents, he owns extensive agricultural land around the middle of the central highway where there is public transportation and long-distance buses. This support makes it easier for him to trade, as well as to maintain his sown fields. "With all the money I could get together, I bought two cars which I can use for public transportation thanks to my older children, who manage the cars", he states with great happiness since he always wanted to work with his children. Anastacio has casual work as a driver, transporting food throughout the country. He takes advantage of this job to also transport his own harvested crops.

This is his third loan with Microfinanzas Prisma, whose collaboration he is waiting for in order to continue with his goals. He again promises to comply with his loan repayments. He likes being part of his communal bank because all the members are responsible and very supportive.

Anastacio will invest the money in buying organic fertilizer for the next time he sows crops, as well as in paying for his car to be converted to gas so he can save on fuel as he will no longer be using petrol.
