Lourdes Iris's story

Lourdes is 37 years old she lives in her own house which is located in a neighborhood of San Lorenzo, in the southern region of Honduras. For the past 8 years she has made a living running her own business, selling chicken, hamburgers, meat patties, sandwiches, rice with chicken, etc. Her customers are friends and family members who go to the municipal market daily. Lourdes is an entrepreneurial woman, with a strong desire to get ahead. She is requesting a loan to buy more supplies to be able to make the food she sells. She will buy chicken, beef, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, peppers, plantains, cheese and rice, among other things. She hopes that as a result of this loan her sales will increase, so that she can begin to offer a larger variety of items to her customers. Lourdes hopes to improve her quality of life, as well as that of her family. She is very happy to continue working with Prisma. Lourdes' greatest dream is to finish building her house.
