Xatinapense Group's story

Cleta de Jesus is 50 years old and married. She did not have the opportunity to go to school, and she has nine children who are not in school. She earns her living weaving. She started this business on her own initiative for the purpose of helping her husband with household expenses. Currently, she has ten years of experience. She has the support of her husband, who works as a construction worker.

They have organized a group and are requesting a loan that will be used to purchase different colored yarns to increase Cleta de Jesus's production of woven fabrics. In the future, she hopes to have a large business with several employees.

The other members of the group earn their livings by working in commerce, weaving, working in a food store, and raising livestock.
