A loan of $125 helped to renovate his shop.

Papa Moussa's story

Papa Moussa is single and lives in Senegal. He has been working in commerce for more than eight years, selling sewing supplies and cosmetic products. He is a client of one of UIMCEC branches and is requesting a loan of 60,000 CFA francs to renovate his store.

With his income, he is able to contribute to the day-to-day expenses, within his family. He works from 8 AM until 8 PM. He wants to renovate his store in order to attract a much larger group of customers and increase his turnover and profits, which will allow him to diversify his inventory. He would like to start selling fabrics and also to increase the number of his employees to two. His goal is to be able to contribute to the improvement of his family's diet.

In the future, Papa Moussa would like to better develop his commercial activity and buy a larger store, so that he can completely satisfy the demand from his customers.
