Ishaka Iii Group's story

Bernard is a member of Ishaka III Group and lives in Ngozi. He's 42 years old and married to Jacqueline, a farmer. Together, they have seven children, aged 8 months to 17 years. Out of them, four attend school. Bernard is a farmer and he's been selling a local beverage made from bananas for then years. This is his first loan from Kiva's partner, Turame. He intends to use it to bolster his working capital and buy a large quantity of bananas, in order to make and sell many liters of his banana-based beverage. This will enable him to increase his profits. In the forthcoming years, he would like to buy a motorcycle for his own transportation, and see his children study.
